Abstract:
The baseline assessment thus provides the basis for a future health impact evaluation once the 'technology' has been deployed, but also highlights its potential health benefits. Essentially the 'technology' referred to herein is the proposed solution to the community challenges; it hinges greatly on both active and design research. Through an active participatory approach, the communities were involved in enumerating their challenges and suggesting solutions to the challenges.
