Abstract:
This book is based on the report emanating from the workshop hosted by the SAHRC on 5 and 6 March 2020 regarding the role of the SAHRC as an NHRI in the context of the changing social conditions associated with the 4IR. The report, commissioned by the SAHRC and entitled 'The human rights implications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in South Africa', was authored by the HSRC. The authors are grateful to a number of individuals for their contributions to the report, and ultimately to this book.
