dc.description.abstract The aim of this study was to assess the performance of the EPWP in the North West in the first five years of the programme, with the aim of producing recommendations for scaling up the programme in the next five years. The study included case studies of three environmental sector, three infrastructure sector, and an environmental sector project; interviews and workshops, and desktop review. In terms of budgets and numbers of projects, the environmental sector in the province is dominated by national departments. en
