Abstract:
Potential longer-term effects of HIV/AIDS and mental health are explores. Possible cumulative mental health effects arising from issues such as AIDS orphans, multiple deaths and stressors for people infected and their families are addresses. Problems with trying to predict mental health impacts are discussed and a broad research strategy proposed.
