dc.description.abstract Evi-Pol aims to enable more effective use of evidence in policy and decision-making by African science granting councils. The SGCI is funded by the Canadian International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the South African National Research Foundation (NRF), the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), the British Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the German Research Foundation (DFG), and the Norwegian Agency for Development and Cooperation (Norad). Evi-Pol is led by the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) in Kenya in partnership with the Centre for Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators (CESTII) of the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) in South Africa and and Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (UCAD) in Senegal. en
