Abstract:
Although the contributions to this collection advance understanding, they also offer a reminder that there are many issues that still beg attention. In this postscript we point to a selection of potential avenues of inquiry and deliberation encompassing research, policy and practice that contributions to this volume open up. Some potential avenues of inquiry, policy development and deliberation are suggested. In grappling with these issues and adding other questions of their work, researchers, policymakers and everyone whose lives are touched by care will take us further towards the goal identified at the start of this book, namely developing a critical theory of care with practical intent.
