dc.description.abstract This study examines strategies of empowering vehicle drivers, other road users, policy-makers and the general public on how to prevent the occurrence of vehicle accidents and how to handle vehicle accident situations. The aim was thus to identify local perceptions of road users on the causes of traffic injuries and interventions in this regard which involved different stakeholders in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. en
