Abstract:
In response to the emerging global dilemmas, risks and threats, China has formulated the One Belt, One Road (OBOR) framework to ensure economic development by integrating a number of countries in Asia, Africa and Europe through two main components, the land based 'Silk Road Economic Belt' (SREB) and ocean-going 'Maritime Silk Road"(MSR) to which the Indian Ocean is central.
