This report defines and elaborates on the multi-level Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) information system to be managed through a digital platform which the Government of South Africa led by the Department of Agriculture intends to develop, including the information (data/indicators/variables) to be managed as well as the means, frequency and responsibility of collection. The report also includes recommendations on how the FNS information management system should enable data/information interoperability, integration and promote
