Abstract:
Africa today has the youngest population in the world. 76% of its population is below the age of 35. It is anticipated that Africa's youth will increase by 42,5 million by 2020. The need to diversity the productive capacity of our economies through industrialization is more urgent now that even before in order to create sustainable long-term jobs. A number of factors impede of Africa's ability to industrialize and these need to be addressed with an increased sense of urgency.
