Abstract:
Previous studies have shown that innovation can influence employment growth at the business level. In the context of developing countries with high unemployment rates, innovations may, through technological advancements such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, have positive or negative effects on employment levels. As such, it is important to investigate the link between innovation and employment at the business level in contexts with high unemployment rates.
