dc.description.abstract Even-handedness and impartiality are the defining qualities of Judge Richard Goldstone, former justice of the Constitutional Court. Tellingly, his concern - for victims on all sides of the Israeli - Palestinian conflict (emphasis added) is 'however unwittingly' non-binary: the victims are not merely Israeli soldiers and Palestinian fighters, but civilians - the families of people who had lost their lives, the citizens of Israel and the people of Palestine, the peoples of the region, and ultimately, in a globalised multipolar world, peoples across the globe. en
