dc.description.abstract	Fezile Dabi District Municipality is located in the northern part of the Free State province and is 20 829.1 km?? in size. It is situated in Sasolburg. It is the smallest district in the Free State province, making up 16% of its geographical area. This area's population represents approximately 17% of the total population of the Free State. The main tourist attraction site is the Vredefort Dome, the third-largest meteorite site in the world. The municipality shares a boundary with the North West province, Gauteng provinces to its north and Mpumalanga to its north east. To the south, Fezile Dabi shares a boundary with Thabo Mofutsanyana District and Lejweleputswa District to the west (Fezile Dabi District Municipality Annual Report, 2019).	en
