Abstract:
The World Study on Violence against children noted that violence against children is never justifiable or inevitable, and that if its underlying causes are identified and addressed, violence against children is entirely preventable. This essay addresses the following questions: - what is meant by violence prevention? - how is South Africa doing? - what are the recommendations?
