Abstract:
Zwelakhe Thulasizwe Mascot Maseko and Inocent Moyo explore the conflicts between conservation and community at KwaNibela and the iSimangaliso Wetlands Park in South Africa. The authors present how the park conservation strategies have a negative impact on the socioeconomic wellbeing of the people in KwaNibela due to the limited access to natural resources and lack of economic opportunities of this community.
