Abstract:
Not-for-profit organisations in South Africa contribute to building a more equitable and sustainable society by addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges and promoting human rights and civic engagement. NPOs include charitable, educational, scientific, and religious organisations. This fact sheet tracks how the contribution of the NPO sector to research and experimental development (R&D) is growing in South Africa.
