Episodes of our plight and struggles: from the Vaal townships perspective

Abstract

The essence of this book is to provide my personal account of various events that took place in the sprawling townships of the Vaal Triangle, an area now called Sedibeng, and elsewhere during various periods in my lifetime. But my own life story is interwoven with the story of how and when these townships were formed, and which companies helped in their formation, and the establishment of schools, formation of political parties and trade unions, and different churches, and the building of different sporting activities and entertainment centres in the area.
