Abstract:
A recent DST / HSRC science seminar drew together researchers and policy makers in the higher education and innovation
spaces, to debate the role of knowledge producers in different types of universities and science councils. Researchers presented new work, and participants grappled with the policy implications of the emerging evidence: how to foster interaction between
universities, science councils and marginalised communities in ways that will promote innovation towards inclusive development?
