Abstract:
This chapter explains the key concepts and background as well as the four key roles among Zimbabwean Tonga religious practitioners. The identify and characterizations of dominant traditional art forms are outlined. An analysis of the symbolic functions of art as they appear within the medical realms of the sacred practitioners are also included in this chapter.
