Abstract:
The purpose of this chapter is to make an assessment of the Green Economy Accord in terms of its stated objectives, and the wider perspectives of the green economy. The main sources of evidence drawn upon are 10 semi-structured interviews with role-players involved in the Green Economy Accord, supported by an analysis of supporting government documents, ministerial statements and independent reports by other organisations, researchers and international observers.
