Abstract:
Three new compounds; epi-mukulin, dehydroguggulsterone and dehydro-20-hydroxygugglsterone were isolated from the n-hexane-soluble fraction (HSF) of the methanol extract of guggul, the oleogum resin of Commiphora wightii together with six known compounds.
