Abstract:
The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence and perception of alcohol use in a rural community in South Africa and to correlate this with socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge and risk perception of alcohol use. Results are discussed in view of community interventions of harmful and hazardous alcohol use.
