Abstract:
The provision of water to rural communities is going through a significant transition as the responsibility for thousands of community water projects is being transferred to rural local government. The research was undertaken into the sustainability of these projects during this transition. This report represents an assessment of water projects in Kwa-Zulu Natal in late 2002.
