This chapter seeks to summarize and synthesize the findings from the four provincial case studies, as well as put the case studies' findings into perspective by looking at evidence from national-level data sets. The chapter is organized according to the four main themes touched upon in this exercise, that is, labor absorption in commercial agriculture's small-scale/subsistence agriculture, the rural micro-enterprise sector, and government-sponsored projects. |
