Abstract:
This review of literature provides an overview of evidence-based interventions for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) that focus on providing home-based services. Examples of projects in Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe are detailed and common principles of best practice that emerge from an assessment of these projects are highlighted.
