Abstract:

The WAIS-III was administered to a representative sample of English-speaking South Africans with a view to creating norms for South Africa. Permission was obtained and testing was done from June 1998-May 2000. Appropriate changes were made to measures in Arithmetic and some additional items were written for vocabulary, information and comprehension.
