Abstract:
A call for the establishment of a parliament for the continent by Libya's President Gaddafi at the SIRTE session of the Organisation for African Unity (OAU) in September 1999 has brought the issue of a coordinated approach to the continent's challenges into the spotlight again. The intention of this chapter is to investigate possible compositions of potential pan-African parliament.
