dc.description.abstract This paper investigates issues around cultural diversity and globalisation, cultural industries, the establishment of a cultural observatory and the use of community arts centres. All of these areas of inquiry require an understanding of cultural heritage, the heritage sector and heritage policy. The Media, Advertising, publishing, printing and packaging sector also requires an audit of the heritage sector in order to develop a strategy for training in the sector, including learner ships. en
