dc.description.abstract This report has sought to triangulate a range of data in order to ensure as complete a picture of the current context in Khayelitsha as possible emerges. On the one hand we have utilised quantitative data provided by our partner, the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), based on the most recently released official crime statistics and the most recent Census data from 2011. This enables us to provide a detailed analysis of crime trends in Khayelisha, particularly since 2010. This analysis will be extended further in future reports. en
