Abstract:
Notable dietary shifts from nutrient-dense foods to ultra-processed foods and largely sedentary lifestyles present high risks of diet-linked non-communicable diseases (NCDs). This is a threat to Africa's predominantly young population and its ability to deliver its development mandate specified in Agenda 2063.
