Abstract:
This study shall attempt to describe whether work values in South Africa have changed in the direction of more modern, individualized work values during the period 1990-2001. What kind of work value patterns can be expected, and in what direction are these changes likely to occur? Are to what extent have the social categories defined by gender, race and occupational level impacted on the nature and direction of this change?
